Libor Erben has always preferred running to walking. He is a superlative runner who maintains a feeling of freedom and closeness to nature through running.
His current project takes him across Europe - from south to north. After starting in March 2022 at Capo Passero in Sicily, he will cross Europe along the long-distance hiking trail E1, accompanied by his wife and 2 children in a camper van. The weather will play a big role in achieving the daily goals, which range from 35 to 70 km of running. On some sections of the route, the supply camper van will have to take a diversion and Libor will provide himself with bivouacs and food. A challenge he is not afraid of.
Already in 2018 he crossed Iceland in 15 days and in 2021 he ran 21 days along the mountains in the north of the Czech Republic during the lockdown with only one rest day - 1,086 km and 32,617 metres of altitude, that's a whopping 51 km and 1,550 metres of altitude per day!
Libor will test the natpad® 3 cups of coffee on the wrist for us on his tour. If he ever runs out of energy, he can easily get an extra portion of caffeine through the natpad® via his skin.
